Okay okay! Explaining time! We're still doing self portraits in Color Theory class and this week's assignment was to draw ourselves in a movie poster and my first thought was "HOT DAMN I AM COSPLAYING AS KANEDA"

My second thought was "Oh! I'll do the paprika poster because that was BADASS" but after staring at it for about an hour the colors all blurred together and I decided it was just too badass for me.

SO ME AS KANEDA IT WAS.

I think I got it pretty close to the original movie poster, which is great! Granted I made Kaneda's build a lot slighter so my INCREDIBLY FEMALE HEAD didn't look too out of place. IT STILL LOOKS OUT OF PLACE.

And in wake of the horrible short list of actors Warner Bros released of a bunch of old white dudes to play Japanese teenagers it sort of became a parody/satire thing.

ME AS KANEDA = SAME STUPID LOGIC OF ROBERT PATTINSON AS TETSUO.

IT. MAKES. NO. SENSE.

(Okay, actually Robert Pattinson turned down the role, but none of the other actors make any sense either.)
